Academic Standards
The Bible serves as the standard for our worldview and is the lens through which a clear understanding of life and our world is best explained and understood.
Academic standards, at the early childhood through grade twelve levels, are guided by statements of what students should know and be able do on completing a course of study. Academic standards or standards for learning provide for the curriculum development and guide the instructional planning and delivery, as well as learning assessment approaches.
Along the learning continuum, learners explore big ideas and essential questions derived from multiple access and reference points.
The content richness of each learner’s experiences—their worldview, heritage, core beliefs, and cultural placements—nourish the seed from where the embryo of new knowledge is defined, interpreted, contextualized, understood, extended, challenged and nurtured for the next phase of the journey.
